EYE-LEEN AND QUEER WITCH TEXTILES
Jani Maunula designed Eye-Leen fabric in 2022 and silk and cotton were produced. The print is based on Tatu Vuolteenaho's Eye-Leen self portraits. Installations and products from this fabric were shown in Madrid, Tallinn, Hämeenlinna, Espoo, Bristol and Ylivieska.
House of Disappointments have made outfits from Eye-Leen print. They walked the Kiasma's Queer Art Superstar Ball and performed in Espoo and Hämeenlinna.
Jani Maunula designed Queer Witches fabric in 2026 and cotton poplin was produced. The print is based on 30 of the first Tatu's Queer Witches portraits. Queer Witch Mother Installation was shown in Bristol and Ylivieska. Julian Smith designed and made a dress for Tatu from this QW fabric.
